THE WOOD

An extensive 200-acre wood surrounds Torre Colombaia, an ex-hunting farm, today an area of restocking for pheasants, hares, mallards, woodpigeons, to be watched from a bird-watching cabin located on the shore of a small lake.

If you would like to explore the woods and the neighbourhood mountainbikes are available.You can enjoy as well:

Ejoy your stay in a restored XIX century ex-hunting lodge with all modern comforts.
Each of the four ex-hunting lodges is charmingly decorated with the antique country furniture, typical of the region. Each house is supplied with linen, dinnerware, kitc, utensils, central heating, hot water.There are also four double rooms at the Casale Cerreto where there is also our organic Restaurant..

MEDITATION ROOM

We have for you an air-conditioned/ heated, 50 square meters room for up to 15 persons.This is especially arranged for wellness activities that we offer, such as:
- yoga lessons (free!)
- individual Reiki treatments
- individual Shiatsu treatment

ORGANIC FARM AND FOOD

Since 1987, 120 acres of land are organically cultivated. Our organic farm produces spelt, old kinds of wheat, barley, lenses, millet, alpha alpha. They can be tasted in our traditional farm kitchen along with local recipes and there is a possibility to buy them on site.

We provide vegetarian, glutenfree meals on request.

Torre Colombaia is situated in the heart of Umbrian countryside, 30 minutes drive from Tuscany, a stone throw from Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto and Trasimeno Lake.

Umbria is famous for its numerous cultural events; such as Umbria Jazz in Perugia (July), or Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto (June).
